Happy Thanksgiving. My heart still feels full of gratitude today, though the official Thanksgiving Day has just passed. Thank you my dear readers and followers. Thanks for following along!
Two days ago, my fellow blogger Mark sent me a note: “For some reason when I went to your blog it opted me out of your email alerts. I’ll try again to resubscribe.” Thank you Mark for letting me know about this issue. I believe this is because I moved from WordPress.com to my very own self-hosted site last Friday. I didn’t change my URL address but this migration did create a new ID for my site. As you may notice, all my stats have disappeared (hits back to zero after the migration). The thing that I was most worried about is losing my followers. Unfortunately, this happened to me.
I feel grateful that I was able to transfer my WordPress.com followers and email subscribers from my old site to my new one (the one you’re visiting now) with JetPack, a plugin I’m using to handle subscriptions. But according to JetPack, followers won’t get any new posts unless they resubscribe. If you enjoyed my blog, please do resubscribe to my site to receive new post by email once a week, as I have much more to offer and I want to interact with you more often!
Honestly it takes me up to a week to plan, and hours to cook, take photos, and write it, but I really enjoy doing it. I hope my blog could inspire my readers to try hands at Chinese cuisine a bit more often. Again, please resubscribe if you subscribed to my site before November 20, 2015. Please leave a comment if it still will not resubscribe you. I don’t know why but I’ll find out. Thank you for your support! Much appreciated!
Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you have a great long weekend! Let’s reunite! 🙂
